A fabulous Neoclassical style sterling silver sauce tureen. Made c1776 by Henry Tudor & Thomas Leder in Sheffield, England. Applied ribbon festoon decoration, artichoke finial with foliate and gadroon details. Engraved crest on lid and body. No monograms. Polished and in very good condition with few usage marks. Mass 491g, Length 235mm, Width 113mm, Height 145mm.
